Did you miss Parent Teacher Interviews?: If for some reason you were unable to attend our parent teacher interviews, please contact your child’s teacher to arrange an alternate time to meet. Communication between teachers and parents is very important to ensure your child’s success at school.
An adjustment for Kindergarten Students: On December 7th we have a matinee performance that all students are participating in. For that reason we will having both our morning and afternoon kindergarten classes attend school in the afternoon (12:30 - 3pm) on Wednesday December 7th. There will be no morning class for kindergarten students on December 7th.
School Council Meeting this Monday at 6:30pm Come early at 6:15 to help create a piece of art for the Art Raffle in spring.As always childcare is available.Also please check out our new School Council webpage: http://belfastcouncil.weebly.com/It is under construction so check back often to see what your School Council is up to.
Excited about our Upcoming Performance! Getting ready: Students will be asked to wear black head to toe for the upcoming performance. Costume Information sheets will be sent out next week in student backpacks. If you child is unable to attend either of our musical performance evenings (December 7 and 8) please inform your child’s teacher.
Belfast Giving Tree: Please note, the last day to make requests for the Giving Tree is December 2nd. For the last 2 years staff and parents at Belfast have made Holiday Wishes come true for some of our families in need. Wishes for unidentified students are posted on a tree in the staff room and generous individuals fill those wishes and return the gifts to Belfast for distribution. Families can likewise contact the office to request that their children’s wishes be included on the tree. If you would like to be involved this year please contact the office (403)777-6250. Drop off and pickup of gifts will take place the last week of school before winter break.
Ticket Sales: A Rockin’ Tale of Snow White: The online Ticket Reservation link will be open as of Friday November 25th at noon. The cost of each ticket will be $5 and will be used to directly offset the cost of the performance. Please note: Reservations will be taken on a first come first serve basis. Reserved tickets will be available at the office starting Monday November 28th. All tickets must be paid for in advance. Tickets not claimed in advance will be released at the door. Because of limited space parents may reserve up to 4 tickets per student. Any remaining tickets will be re-released on Monday December 5th. Reminder Monterey Bottle Depot is accepting recyclables on behalf of Belfast Fundraising. This is a simple way to help out our school and our environment.
Video Sales: A Rockin’ Tale of Snow White In order to make videos available to students we need to confirm that we have enough interest from parents. Our videographer requires a commitment that our parents will purchase at least 50 copies before confirming our booking. Please indicate your intention to order a video at this link
